The Essence Of The Taro

The Fool
With the completion of the third septenary applied to the law, with the seventh ternary, we see that the Fool, who is unnumbered yet grouped among the major arcana of the Taro, has the value of 0 assigned, becomes the transitory force of the major arcana. The symbol, 0, is a circle, the symbol of unity. The three septenaries, reflect the three aspects of the one essence. That reflection of the one essence has manifested in the form of this fool and is making its progress through the cycles of involution and evolution to the final moment of reintegration with the infinite, the absolute.
It is also with the Fool that the four suits of the minor arcana tie together. While the images of the major arcana deal with the development of the Fool himself, the minor arcana represents external influences within the Fool's life.
On the Fool's path we come to the privilege of the realization of truth. With this privilege comes the wonderful responsibility to Life, all life, in every form of the one's diverse manifestations. It is in this realization that we learn that all life is divine and regardless of its point on the path, it too is deserving of the love and adoration which we hold for the absolute.
The trials we progress through, the involutionary bindings we break down, will result in the purification of the divine essence within the Fool. As the false Ego dissolves, we learn that which is true, we learn to share, to teach, and most important of all to love. The Will of the Fool, directed by love will find success in all its applications. The universe displays love in all of its manifestations and will always support those who give themselves in full trust to love.
We can realize this in the unfolding of God into the infinite diversity, and in the fall, or separation from the infinite, into the phases of formations, the involutionary desires and habitual behaviors, absent of truth, only to realize this love and its glory and work towards the ascension, and finally reintegration.
In closing, as the fool does not look to be concerned, neither should we worry. We have our staff to aid us and give us support. The path may yet be long and difficult, but with what we know, we have no need to fear.
